If you own a licensed business or you will be working for a licensed business, you need to understand the CCC’s agent registration requirements. Keep in mind that agent registration is specific to the each agent and each license. An agent registered for a cultivation license can only perform work authorized under that cultivation license. If the business also holds a manufacturing license, the agent must obtain a separate registration in order to perform manufacturing work. The CCC has released updated guidance that covers agent application requirements, background checks, CCC review of the applications, registration renewal, fees, Metrc access, and more. Don’t forget that all agents must complete a total of eight hours of training, including a minimum of four hours of Responsible Vendor Training. RVT basic core curriculum must be completed within 90 days of hire.
